Airways Aviation has been awarded a new contract to train pilots for the Royal Oman Police Force.

The company has been providing a complete flight training pathway for the Royal Oman Police Force aeroplane and helicopter pilots several years, including type rating training for pilots to operate under Visual Flight Rules (VFR) and Instrument Flight Rules (IFR).

This latest contract will see a further 20 pilots undertaking Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) studies at the world class Airways Aviation facility on the Gold Coast in Australia.

The contract reflects an increasing need for governments and industry in the region to provide the highest standards of training and aviation-related services, according to Airways Aviation Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Business Development Manager, Yuseph Hawatt.

“Airways Aviation is very pleased to have again been selected to continue to provide training services to the Royal Oman Police Force,” Mr Hawatt said.
